The D59 Reflective Boiler Suit is a heavy-duty, 100% cotton flame-resistant work garment. Built to strict SABS (SANS 434) standards, it offers vital protection against fire and acid spills, alongside EN 20471 certified high-visibility reflective tape for maximum safety in hazardous environments
Core SABS Specification Features
- Fabric: Heavy-duty D59 100% cotton 4/1 sateen, typically weighing between 270 g/m² to 320 g/m².
- Safety Treatments: Treated for flame resistance (SANS 1423-1) and acid resistance (DIN 32763).
- Reflective Tape: 50mm industrial-grade silver and/or lime reflective tape around arms and legs, plus an “X” on the back and two strips across the front.
- Stitching: Triple-needle stitched on stress points, armholes, and side seams with bar-tacked reinforcements for maximum durability.
